Hi, I'm Catherine!   I'm 37 years old and I am a licensed esthetician and cosmetologist.

Since I was a little girl, I always loved colors - pink and purple were and still are my favorites!  I wanted to be an artist since I was a little girl, a dream that God placed on my heart.  My noni (that's Italian for grandmother) sold Avon and I would look through the pages in awe and love everything I saw, and I would go through her boxes of products and samples and marvel at all of the colors and scents.  The first thing I would do every time I came over after giving my noni and papa a kiss would be grabbing the new Avon catalog and asking for her new samples to try!

In 2010 I graduated from school with an applied science degree and I had been going through some autoimmune health issues and I had a new found interest for a healthier lifestyle and I wanted to create a brand that was focused on healthy makeup with fun colors and Carina Dolci Cosmetics was born.  In 2011 I was diagnosed with food allergies and as the next two years went by I found it difficult to find bath, body, and beauty products that were free from my allergies, that actually worked, and were made with healthy ingredients so I went to school for cosmetology and skin therapy at Paul Mitchell The School and Dermalogica Institute and to learn about the science and pH of the hair and skin to better formulate products.

I created Carina Dolci Apothecary - the bath, body and home fragrance brand and Dark Horse Apothecary - my men's line in 2014.
